“No BS”: Let’s Take a Tour of JD Vance

EDITORIAL: JD Vance wants you to believe he’s the People’s Republican candidate for Ohio Senate in 2022, even labeling his current campaign the “No BS Tour”. He wants you to forget how he called Donald Trump an “idiot” and that he found him “reprehensible” in 2016. (1) He hopes that with Donald Trump JR’s recent glowing endorsement, both asking you to ‘forget and forgive’, that YOU’LL ‘forget and forgive’ that in July 2016 JD Vance said, “There are, undoubtedly, vile racists at the core of Trump’s movement.” Yet, Mr Vance’s current Issues page jumps on the bandwagon of today’s concerns regarding “universities that teach that America is an evil, racist nation”, and that HE is here to “Protect Conservative Values.”(2) Seems like he’s not been all that above painting selective portions of people with the defamatory “R”-word, in the past.

Forgive him for thinking Donald Trump was a man of poor character in 2016 and 2017, if you will…but do you forgive him that he broadly bundled Trump supporters (maybe that’s YOU) into his juvenile rhetoric of the day? –That he sounded exactly like Mainstream Media and the Left? And…has he apologized to YOU…or just to Trump?

Real RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) have a way of their inflammatory comments ‘outing’ who they really are, though.

Did you know that *today* JD Vance sits on the board of an Ohio venture capital firm called “Narya”? (Its website says that he is on a “partial leave of absence” to run his Senate campaign.) One of the companies that Vance’s Narya showcases in their portfolio is called “Kriya Therapeutics”.(3)

On Kriya’s home page is a bold print headline, “Unleashing the Power of Gene Therapy”.(4) That means that your “conservative” candidate, JD Vance, is actively funding and looking to directly profit from the same type of un-Christian mRNA/DNA ‘voodoo science’ modification as Moderna, Pfizer and J&J have been pushing for the past two years.

A Kriya press release from August 4, 2020 claims that “Kriya will manufacture gene therapies at the facility using its scalable suspension cell culture manufacturing process…”(5) –While it’s possible that Kriya uses animal cell culture experimentation…the highest likelihood is that they’re using human fetal cells somewhere in their research, since that’s what all existing “gene therapy” medicines released to humans have used. NCBI (the National Center for Biotechnology Information, a government institution) says that animal cell research comes with “infection risks” and the best chance for success is “with active young cells.”(6)

That’s possibly another embarrassing “contradiction of conscience” for a candidate claiming to be “100 percent pro-life”,(2) and having taken the “Christian” stand in 2016 when blasting Trump and Trump supporters.

Lastly, how about the DeWine/Husted connection to Narya? The Narya site lists 3 people alonside Mr Vance on the leadership Team. One of those is a woman named Fallon Donahue….who is also (apparently) the sole member and Chair on the “InnovateOhio Advisor Board”. InnovateOhio is an Ohio government pet project for Lt Governor Jon Husted, who is it’s Director.(7)

There’s nothing against people in corporations (or in this case, venture capital firms) also participating in the public sector. It can be a noble endeavor. However, when in this year’s race there is such critical attention on not electing RINOs or ‘the connected Elite’…Mr Vance is not looking so much like the “Conservative Outsider” he claims to be on his website.(8) –“BS”, perhaps?
